Advocating for the Blind and Sight Impaired

Ahepa 456 has partnered with American Friends of The Blind In Greece to bringing awareness and raise funds in support of their programs and activities.

The Chapter will be advocating and collecting donations at Archangel Michael Church on May 25th. In the Greek Orthodox Archdiocese of America, May 25th is Sunday of the Blind Man. Rather appropriately we will annually call for support on this special Friends of the Blind Sunday Service.

Friends of The Blind in Greece provides Education, Career Opportunities and Cultural & Leisure Pursuits to empower and give dignity to the sight impaired. 

The American Friends of the Blind in Greece is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit devoted to assisting the blind in Greece with a proven track record spanning 75 years.
