Chapter, District & National Scholarship Programs

Announcing the New Ahepa Gold Coast Chapter 456 General Scholarship Program. This scholarship has been created exclusively for students of Ahepa Gold Coast Chapter 456 members. 

Applicants Must:

• Be a resident / citizen of the United States of America
• Be a child of a Ahepa Chapter 456 Member in good standing
• Be between 15 and 25 years old
• Be enrolled for the current and upcoming year as a High School, Undergraduate, Post-Graduate or Vocational School Student

Judging Criteria:

• Academics - GPA, coursework, academic awards, and balance
• Breadth of Athletic Experience - Variety and depth of participation in team, individual, or non-traditional sports; evidence of lifelong engagement, participation & accomplishments
• Short Answer Questions - Clarity, sincerity, writing quality 
• Character & Leadership - Integrity, teamwork, mentorship, humility, and response to setbacks
• Community & School Involvement - Volunteer, work, mentoring, or outreach
• Hellenic Ideals - respect for family, cultural connection, value system
• Bonus: Overcoming Adversity / Inspiring Story - Exceptional perseverance or contribution to others 
• Letter of Recommendation

Criteria will be evaluated through a scoring rubric based on a total 100 point system. This judging policy ensures that the AHEPA Chapter 456 Scholarship is awarded through a fair, transparent, and values-based process that reflects AHEPA’s commitment to education, athletics, philanthropy, civic responsibility, family, and individual excellence, rooted in Hellenic ideals.

The scholarship applications are independently judged with 2 winners awarded $1000 each.

The winners will be announced in May at a social event TBD.
